API Description:
Dilli Email Validation API(DEVA) is a simple REST API for verifying email addresses. It returns 'true' if given email address is valid, 'false' otherwise. Factors used to determine validity of an email address includes format validation, ESP (Email Service Provider) grammar rules, MX records existence, check for disposable email address, check for role-based email address, check for known malicious email address and check for profanity. Out of the box integration with Wordpress using 'Dilli Email Validator' plugin and with Node.js using 'dilli-email-validation' node package.
How is this API different ?:
Simple response 'true' or 'false' for the request helps make a definite decision regarding validity of the email address. Easy integration with Wordpress and Node.js via a plugin. A dashboard lets you track validations. ESP grammar rules check, profanity detection, disposable email address check are not always present in other APIs.
